Boost Your Young Adult's Academic & Career Success

Is your young adult slipping in their effort, focus and motivation to be successful in their college coursework?

As a parent, you’ve guided your child through a major part of their life. But as they step into adulthood, you may be noticing they're struggling with the leap to independence. Perhaps you're worried about their slipping grades in college, or you're concerned about their lack of motivation to start a career path.

It’s a common challenge. Young adults often struggle with the very skills needed to succeed in an independent world. This isn't a lack of potential but a lack of developed executive function skills like time management, planning, and self advocacy. This is where an expert, compassionate executive function program for young adults can make all the difference.

Why Young Adults Need Academic Coaching and Career Guidance

The leap to independence presents unique hurdles. Your young adult may have excelled in high school, but college and early career life demand a new set of skills. You may be seeing signs of a struggle, such as:

  • Academic Challenges: Losing track of deadlines, receiving penalties for late work, or facing academic probation. Academic coaching for college students provides structured support to reverse these trends.

  • Career Challenges: Feeling overwhelmed by career exploration, being unsure how to craft a resume, or struggling to highlight their skills to potential employers. Our program provides career guidance for young adults to confidently take their next steps.

The BOOST Program: A Structured Path to Success

The BOOST Program for Young Adults is a 12 week program designed to provide high level, focused support to help your child get back on track.

Our expert coaches specialize in supporting young adults, including those with executive function deficits, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health challenges. We work to provide the structured support your young adult needs, giving you peace of mind and empowering your child to become more confident and autonomous.

How The Program Works: Building Skills for Life

The BOOST program provides holistic support to help your young adult develop the skills for lasting success.

1. Building Core Executive Function Skills: The program begins with a deep dive into core executive function skills and independent living strategies. Your young adult will focus on time management, routine building, resilience, and self advocacy.

2. Focused Academic or Career Support: Halfway through the program, your young adult will shift their focus to their individual goals, whether academic or career related.

  • Academic Preparedness: They'll learn practical strategies for studying, note taking, and navigating campus resources to boost their grades and confidence.

  • Career Exploration: They will receive expert guidance on crafting an elevator pitch, exploring career paths, and preparing for interviews to kickstart their professional journey.

This program also includes two coach facilitated family meetings to ensure goals are aligned and everyone is working toward the same outcome. Your young adult will also receive weekly individual and small group coaching sessions, career and skills assessments, and support for their transition after the program ends.

Their Future Starts Now

If you're feeling worried about your young adult's future, the BOOST program offers an opportunity for them to gain the essential life skills they need to handle the challenges of adulthood with confidence. This program is part of our commitment to empowering young adults, and for those who may need a longer term, more intensive solution, our LAUNCH program for young adults provides more comprehensive support.
